Description
Born in circumstances of place and time for the least restrictive and almost inextricable, the Loyola University of Congo (ULC) is both a challenge and a hope. Young and old at the same time, this project, which aims at a University of excellence in the DRC and Central Africa, is based on the laudatory past of Jesuit teaching and the reputation of the Faculty of Saint Pierre Canisius and the former Higher Agroveterinary Institute (ISAV). From 5 to 7 January 2017, about fifteen people, leaders of Loyola University of Congo, members of the ULC Board of Directors and resource persons, met to conduct together a strategic reflection on the future of the Institution.
The ULC provides quality education and training not only in scientific and technical terms, but also ethically and religiously. On the other hand, the ULC organizes basic and applied scientific research, oriented towards the solution of the specific problems of the country and the Church, taking into account the evolution of society, science, technology and technology in the world.
