Welcome to the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD) Women Empowerment and Leadership Program. The program is implemented by WASD and its various  Partners, SDGs Universities, Middle Eastern Knowledge Economy Institute (MEKEI) and the International Diaspora Initiative.

WASD is very keen to involve all Women from across the world in our various women empowerment and leadership initiatives. We would like to engage all women without any restriction. WASD is very keen to understand the various perspectives and expectations of all women for their future and accordingly help them be ready to grasp the various opportunities generated in the digital economy. We strongly believe women should be the cornerstone of any strategy by all governments and policy-makers.

To meet this aim, WASD runs global conferences and seminars, publishes high-quality refereed journals and books, and organises international development projects. Our various women empowerment and leadership projects and initiatives, together with our various partners across the world, aim to encourage the engagement of all women and to make their voices heard, consequently enabling decision-makers to consider those views and ideas in their big decisions.

WASD works with a wide range of institutions, such as universities, research centres and governmental departments all over the world, particularly in the developing countries. All these stakeholders are involved in a multidisciplinary platform to help institutions and individuals with their various transformation plans.
